Shepherd’s Corner | Sermon Library

“If people leave worship saying, ‘What an amazing preacher!’ we have failed. Instead we must long for them to say, ‘What a great God, and what a privilege it is to meet him in his Word, as we have just done.’ A good teacher clears the way, declares the way, and then gets out of the way.”
Alistair Begg

Shepherd’s Corner hosts biblical teachers who have a solid reputation for remaining faithful to the accurate and expository proclamation of God’s Word throughout their ministries. We are not endorsing any one teacher here and although there are differences in denomination and the secondary and tertiary doctrines that they hold to, we can fully recommend their overall teaching as being faithful to scripture and holding to the essential doctrines of the Christian faith. Addressing the former differences, we trust that the Holy Spirit will guide you in what you are learning and help you to discern what is accurate according to His wisdom as you check it against the scriptures. No matter how good a pastor or teacher is at handling the word of God, we must remember that we, as faithful believers, are instructed to always go to the scriptures ourselves for this is how we will know if what we are hearing is in accordance with God’s infallible Word (Acts 17:11).

We pray these libraries of wisdom and knowledge will help edify and encourage you to first and foremost, understand God better and also equip you with what is necessary for you to go out and teach others also ! (2 Timothy 2:2)

John Piper Sermons

John Piper is the founder and lead teacher of Desiring God, chancellor of Bethlehem College and Seminary, and former pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he served for nearly 33 years. For over half a century, he has preached thousands of messages and written dozens of books to spread a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ.

John’s library of teaching includes decades of sermons and conference messages, thousands of answers to pastoral and theological questions in Ask Pastor John, and hundreds of Bible-study videos — especially through the letters of Paul — in Look at the Book.

The son of an itinerant evangelist, John was raised in Greenville, South Carolina, and studied English literature at Wheaton College (1964–1968), where he also met Noël Henry, whom he married in 1968.

Influenced by the writings of Jonathan Edwards and C.S. Lewis, John discovered the liberating truth of Christian Hedonism. Since then, he has devoted himself to celebrating and persuading others that God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him.

Voddie Baucham Sermons

Dr. Voddie Baucham (1969-2025) is a husband, father, grandfather, former pastor, church planter, best-selling author, and professor. He was the founding Dean, and currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Divinity at the African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia.  He is also a founding faculty member if the Institute of Public Theology.

Raised in a non-Christian, single-parent home, Voddie did not hear the gospel until he was in college. His journey to faith was a very unusual and intellectual one. Consequently, he understands what it means to be a skeptic, and knows what it’s like to try to figure out the Christian life without relying on the traditions of men. As a result, he speaks to ‘outsiders’ in ways few Bible teachers can.

Dr. Baucham holds degrees from Houston Baptist University (BA in Christianity/BA in Sociology), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.) with additional post-graduate study at the University of Oxford, England (Regent’s Park College). He served as the President | Professor of Cultural Apologetics at the Founder’s Seminary.

Voddie is known for his ability to demonstrate the Bible’s relevance to everyday life without compromising the centrality of Christ and the gospel. Those who hear him preach find themselves both challenged and encouraged.

Charles Haddon (C. H.) Spurgeon Sermons

“Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834–1892) was an influential Baptist preacher in England. He was the most popular preacher of his time and is still known as “the Prince of Preachers.”

Spurgeon was the son and grandson of Congregational ministers. He came to faith in 1850 while listening to a Primitive Methodist preacher. Rejecting Congregational teaching, Spurgeon was baptized as a believer and began to serve in a Baptist church. In 1854, before he was 20 years old, he became the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel, a Baptist church in London.

Within a few weeks, many conversions resulted from Spurgeon’s preaching, and the church building could not accommodate the crowds. The congregation also outgrew several other venues until finally the Metropolitan Tabernacle, which seated 6,000, was built specifically for this purpose. Spurgeon preached there from 1861 to 1891, shortly before his death. His sermons were printed in the London papers weekly. In addition to pastoring the church, Spurgeon started a pastor’s college and an orphanage, which are both still in operation today. Spurgeon also wrote prolifically (his collected sermons fill 63 volumes, the largest set of books by one author in the history of Christianity).

Spurgeon died in 1892. In his nearly 40 years of pastoring, it’s estimated that he had preached 3,500 sermons to about 10 million people. Through his written works, Spurgeon has left a continuing legacy of love for Christ and His Word that still influences pastors and laymen today.

Billy Graham Sermons

Billy Graham was the world’s most famous evangelist for over 60 years, carrying on the tradition of men like D. L. Moody and Billy Sunday. Graham held more than 400 crusades and evangelistic rallies in more than 185 countries and territories. It’s estimated that he preached the gospel of Jesus Christ to 215 million people.

Billy Graham declared the gospel simply and clearly. His crusades always drew big crowds, and the crowds always heard the gospel. Graham urged people to respond to the gospel by coming forward and giving their lives to Christ.

Billy Graham married Ruth Bell in 1943, and they remained married until Ruth’s death in 2007. Billy and Ruth had five children. From all accounts, he was a loving and godly husband and father. Billy went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2018. He left behind a legacy of faithful service to the Lord and many lives changed because of his commitment to pointing people to Jesus Christ. His grave marker contains these fitting words: “Preacher of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.” Find his sermons at this link Billy Graham’s Sermon Library
