Purpose & Mission

Purpose

Herald the Truth Ministry exists to proclaim biblical truth with a soul focus of pointing every person toward Jesus Christ for their eternal salvation and sanctification. This para-church ministry was born out of a deep conviction to develop a platform where Gospel-centered resources and teachings could be available and presented in one place for both the believer and those seeking to understand more about who Jesus is and what He has done for us. I thank the Lord that He continued to press this desire into my spirit and I am thankful that He brought people into my life to help encourage me to travel this path. Because of this, the ministry was born. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and His steadfast love for us, that He might use us to fulfill His eternal plan.

Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples. – Psalm 105:1

On this site you will find content geared toward the truths revealed in God’s infallible Word, so that the Lord may be made known, your faith may be increased and the assurance of the saints strengthened through God’s divine revelation and guaranteed promises.

So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, or no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. – 2 Peter 1:19-21

Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. – Proverbs 30:5

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? – Numbers 23:19

For all the promises of God find their Yes in Him [Jesus Christ]. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. – 2 Corinthians 1:20

Mission

Through our faithful commitment to the proclamation of His word, our hope and prayer is that the Lord may grant those visiting here the ears to hear and eyes to see the revelation of His glorious redemptive plan. And through His divine revelation, He would provide them real evidence of His redeeming work, by transforming them in a very real way.

The transformation that occurs in salvation is not complicated, but it is a work and present miracle of God in a person’s life.

What Does it Mean to be a New Creation?

Conversion begins because of God’s amazing grace and mercy, whereby He grants measured faith to His chosen people (Romans 12:3) and through this faith, He manifests in the sinner, a true saving belief and a Godly sorrow over their sin, which leads to true repentance and their eternal salvation (2 Corinthians 7:10). Through this divinely inspired process, God changes the sinner’s heart, therefore causing the new believer to love righteousness and despise sin, a true miracle for a sin loving sinner (Ezekiel 36:25-26). And the Lord seals His people with the Holy Spirit, His eternal promise of redemption, therefore making us a new creation (Ezekiel 36:25-26). He creates us into His workmanship (translated also “masterpiece”), created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared before the foundation of the world so that we would walk in them and be His ambassadors here on earth for the glory of His Holy name (2 Corinthians 5:20).

The Word of the Lord, “Remember this, and be assured; Recall it to mind, you transgressors. “Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’; – Isaiah 46:8-10

So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. – Isaiah 55:11

Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. – 1 Thessalonians 5:24

Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” – John 10:27-30

“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” – John 6:37-40

From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” – Matthew 4:17

But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”–that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED”….for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.” – Romans 10:8-11; 10:13

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.” – John 3:16-21

So as a new creation in Christ, we are to follow the King’s Road. We can start that life-long journey by learning the Truth found in God’s Word. Ouur content can help you and equip you as we walk with you on The Way.

If you do not yet know the Lord as Savior and King, we are here to help you meet Him in a personal and real way. It starts with understanding that you are a sinner, repenting or turning from your sin back to God and trusting alone in Jesus for your eternal salvation. Repentance alone cannot save you, just as telling a judge you are sorry and you won’t do it again will not relinquish you of the consequences of your lawlessness. You and I need a Savior who is able to stand in our place and take the full penalty for our disobedience. The only One who ever lived a sinless life and can stand in our place is Jesus Christ, and He did two thousand years ago at Calvary as He hung on a Roman cross. Therefore the only way to be made right with a Holy and Just God is to put your full trust and faith in Jesus’ work on the cross and not in your own good deeds. He is the only way to be reconciled to God because He is the Way, He is the Truth and He is the Life! That is the Gospel Truth.

Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. – John 14:6

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” – Acts 4:12

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
— John 11:25-26
